Oh waiter....

The DOR and the support crew were out doing chores this evening. They were tarping a very large hay pile that has been placed in our winter pasture. It is inside panels...makes it a bit hard to get to, in fact it is impossible to get to but it sure looks good. Dakota fed Freedom his mush and the rest of us hovered around the outside of the panels waiting for some hay to fall our way. Bryce got on top of the pile and knocked down two bails, oh happy day! We tried but we still couldn't get to it. Finally when the tarping was all done the DOR threw us all a flake of hay. It is our first flake of the season-it was heaven. But I really didn't want to eat all of it, I like fresh grass better. I ate half of my hay and then headed to the far end of the pasture (that is next to the mares) and munched grass...Harley and Salty ate the rest of the hay. Tomorrow I might try eating all of my hay, but tomorrow is also treat night...hard to tell what will happen.
By the way I heard the DOR say she was going to try to ride this weekend. That is so exciting, it means she is all better! She can't herf the saddle yet, but Bryce will do that for her. I am so looking forward to a nice ride, it is fun to go play. I am planning a lesson to teach her, I am thinking about just working on her relaxing her legs while riding-she has a tendency to be stiff legged and it makes her ankles sore.
Guess what...my picture has made the rounds at the Pentagon and some offices at the White House. Seems the DOR know a big mucky-muck and she sent an e-mail that had a picture of her riding me in her signature. The mucky-muck shared it with some other people. Great thing is they all think that I am stunning! I could be the next secret weapon...I could parade around, stun people with my good looks and there would be no need to fire a shot! Heck they could put together a bunch of us good looking appys and we could take over the world!
Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR
