Skywatch Friday No. 32

For this Friday I thought I would share how my day starts.
I arrive at the ranch to feed at 6:00 in the morning, before I head to work. This morning it was foggy. Here is Jack wandering over to mooch some treats.
Here is the moon shining through the fog. It is always such a peaceful place in the morning.
The ranch helps me focus on the day ahead. It gives me a sense of balance and peace that allows me to stay centered throughout the day. The ranch also allows me to unwind and leave work behind at the end of the day. The horses, the ranch, the chores, the smells, and the views keeps the whole world in perspective for me.
Please go visit the other great Skywatch participants at Skywacth Friday There are wonderful photos from all around the world!Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR

This sounds like a beautiful way to start a day. I especially liked the way the moon shines through the haze.

I love the light first thing in the morning too but I bet it's much better on a farm then in the city. Nice shots.

I just bet that Jack knows exactly when you get up and his mouth starts to water. That is a great photo of him mosying toward you. What could be better than starting and ending each day with horses.

I'll be thinking of you guys tomorrow morning when I go out in that same early morning darkness to feed the girls. Beautiful photos. It is a magical time of day.

See, this is the totally cool thing about blogging. I can skip the early morning stuff TOTALLY, and still catch great sky shots! Thanks for putting these up, and sharing the start of your day!

PS- thanks too for the well wishes. I think we are gaining bit by bit here- FINALLY! ;)

Beautiful photos of the sky. I'm afraid we're all still tucked in our beds at that hour. We're lazy during the short days of winter.

Those blurry, foggy dreamy photos make me sleepy. Such a calming way to start the day :)
