Wordless Wednesday

This is Sir Royal Pain munching the chicory in his pasture. The flowers of this plant are lovely in the mornings.
I don't eat chicory, it is bitter. It does has some medical properties, one of those being inulin, the fiber in the leaves has some applications for diabetes-maybe the DOR needs to eat some of the leaves in her salads.
