These pictures are of a decoration that hangs right outside the DOR's front door. Look at those ice crystals. It was frosty and cold last night.
I was a bit upset about being tarpped yesterday evening. In fact DOR had to put my halter on because I would not stand nicely. I am not sure why, but the fact that I ran off when she put the tarp on my back made her very happy, she looked at me and smiled. Alright then I see a lot of running from the tarp in my future, you know how I love to keep the DOR happy.
She put the halter on me and proceeded to put the tarp on my back. Not wanting to quit making the DOR smile, I danced from side-to-side and spun around. The DOR just laughed and said "Look Boogie, we are finally dancing" and she rubbed my neck. Then her eyes started leaking...I think she has finally done and gone crazy. She danced around with me and finally got all of my straps hooked up. She then gave me a big smooch on the nose and rubbed my forehead. "Boogie do you know what you just did?", what does she think I am stupid? Yeah I know what I just did, I failed to escaped the tarp, but that wasn't what she was talking about. "You just moved your feet when you were worried, you didn't have sticky feet-look." With that she flapped the tarp around by my belly and I started dancing away from it. She grinned real big and kept flapping the tarp. I finally stood still and looked at her, she was right my feet weren't stuck. That is another sign things are getting better! Now the DOR said there are advantages to my feet being stuck when I was worried or afraid, the biggest one being I couldn't run off. She also knew it was a sign that my nervous system still wasn't working right and that was a bad thing. So she is happy to be doing the "tarp dance" with me and that makes me feel good.
Freezing rain called for today, I am glad I have on my tarp.
Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR!

At first I thought the decorations were strung on barbed wire that is weird the way the ice formed.
Jack I would love to come and tarp dance with you? It sounds like fun.
~~Hugs and Smooches~~
What a striking photograph. It drew me in. The lighting is just beautiful.
Great that your feet can dance! Please have a happy New Year with your DOR and all your horse and human friends!
Jack, I'm glad you're feeling better. Maybe you and the DOR will be on Dancing With the Stars next season?
Well Jack you smarty pants...I thought you had stoped dancing with your tarp??? At least you did not have ice cycles on you too...because you had on your tarp!
