It is so cold that I have to wear a tarp! The DOR was pleased that I stood like a good boy for the first time ever when she tarped me. I am glad she was happy, but I had to work hard at it. There were several things that helped.
*I had to wear a fly sheet when I was really sick
*The DOR put the tarp on me like she expected me to stand nicely
*The DOR told me all well broke horses wear tarps.
*Shandi got hers on first and I couldn't let her show me up.
*I kept telling myself I was wearing jammies and not a tarp.
*The most important thing that helped was that Sir Darby will stand to be tarped in the middle of the pasture with the wind blowing the tarp like a flag without a halter and without moving. Darn if I am going to let him show me up!
I am glad I have a tarp on. It is in the teens during the day with the wind chill factor and is just plain frigid at night.
The DOR had a big smile on her face because I stood so still, she is very proud of me. She had one horse caused smile after another lately. I am glad we are all making her so happy.
Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR!

I am so glad that you didn't have any trouble wearing your blankey, because it is so cold I wouldn't want you to freeze. I hope you DOR is feeling better and staying warm.
~~Hugs and Smooches~~
Hello, just found your blog through Skywatch Friday.
I enjoy viewing the horse photos. Enjoy animals though I must say I've not ridden a horse; perhaps I'm missing out in something.
I like the title of the post, "Jammie time". My it is cold where you live, what state is this?
