The DOR got some new toys for me. She put four tubs out in the pasture, two pink and two lime green. Actually she tied them to the panels around the hay and put a flake of hay in each one. I quickly figured out how to tip them over and managed to get two of them loose. They are really fun to snort in when they are empty, it makes a great echo and gives me a good reason to hop and snort around when the noise scares me.
The DOR came back in the pasture to retie them. I helped her by following her around and poking her in the butt with my nose everytime she bent over to tie a tub and pick up the hay I scattered-I know she appreciated the help because she kept saying, "Thanks Jack, but I don't need your help." I know she was just being nice, so I kept helping her. She was so greatful that she gave me two Knickermakers before she left the pasture. She also gave Harley two, but I think that was becuase he stayed out of her way-he isn't as helpful as I am.
The DOR saw the heart doctor today and got given the thumbs up! She can now start working on getting back to her old self. She is really happy about that. She is getting her tack all ready for a ride this weekend. I am really happy too, I miss all of our time spent training.
Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR
