Skywatch Friday No. 37

Sorry if the photos are a bit dark. I took these at 6:00 in the morning on the way to work from the ranch. I love how the fog is rolling down the hills.
The hills are called "Horse Heaven Hills". My little guy once told me that he thought these hills were where horses go when they die...I am thinking it would be a lovely place for a horse to live forever, even if they look a bit spooky in these photos.
Please go visit the other great Skywatch participants at Skywacth Friday There are wonderful photos from all around the world!Enjoy your day and don't forget to hug your DOR

I remember going to work about that time, but I think I was always too tired to notice any scenery...This is pretty...Michelle

I always love it when the clouds rest on top of the mountains. I always call them lazy clouds. Great photos. Thanks for sharing your early morning sightings.

I saw fog pouring down over hills like that once (in Canada) and it was totally awesome. It was at dusk. Does the time of day have something to do with this?

I really like your photo of the fog. I live near the California central valley where it is known (not in a good way) for it's Tule fog. It comes in low and makes it very difficult to drive in especially at night.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Thanks for coming by Jack and guessing on my "UFO" I do beleive you might need to be a little frightened because it must be a black horse eating grocery bag that couldnt find a black horse so it ate a black cow and now I believe it is headed your way and has decided it likes appaloosas LOL

Ewwww...i really like them. I think the darkness adds a lovely mysterious feel to the fog.

Without the trees the fog almost looks likes big waves rolling in on the ocean.

It reminds me a little of Jim Warren's Painting where the horses are running along the beach with the big waves rolling right behind them.

Oh if you haven't seen any of his work...Google him...you will love his fantasy imagery with horses!!

Happy Weekend,
Jackie:-)
