The little miracle bull calf has a name, Sundance. He is a delightful little critter and Freedom would love to steal him from his mom if he got a chance.
Here he is tucking in for a meal. His mom Daisy is a really good mother. She is very protective so nobody messes with little Sundance.
This is one of the rare times the little guy was still. He loves to race around the pasture and play with the other bull calf, Remington.
The DOR says when the calves are bigger and Daisy is less worried she is going to take me for a ride to meet them...that is after she lets Freedom have a visit.

Looks like happy little guy. Next to where I used to live in Los Angeles we had a roping arena. There weren't any calves of course, just steers for roping. But is was a little piece of heaven in the middle of the city. - Margy
what a beauty! just had a vivid memory of the feel and smell of a calf, accompanied by hitting the ground every time I attempted to ride one.

The calf belongs to the ranch owner. I don't know if cows get names when they are registered or not...seems like they would.
